Students graduating from this program will:

  • Instrumental: To present three public performances that exhibit the highest degree of instrumental/vocal competence and artistry
  • To gain broad experience in a significant amount of repertoire
  • To present a business plan that assists their career plan
  • To make contacts with people in the music world who can help them in their career
  • Keyboard: Demonstrate mastery of the following fundamental performance areas: Technique, Tone, Expression, and Rhythm
  • Create superior historically informed and stylistically accurate interpretations
  • Articulate ideas precisely in a manner that allows for professional-level presentations and collaborations at the highest level
  • Display a comprehensive understanding of the repertoire specific to their instrument
