Students have the option to attend full-time or part-time. Nurse practitioner students choosing to attend full-time must begin in a summer semester.

Licensure Disclosure

Graduates of Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Graduate Certificate, DNP or MSN) programs will be prepared to take the certification test to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). 

Graduates of Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (Graduate Certificate, MSN, or DNP) programs meet the educational requirements to be eligible for the AGNP national certification exam, through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Graduates of the Family Nurse Practitioner (Graduate Certificate, DNP or MSN) programs meet the educational requirements to be eligible for the FNP national certification exam, through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Graduates of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Graduate Certificate or MSN) programs meet the educational requirements to be eligible for the NNP National Certification Exam (NCC).  

Graduates of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (Graduate Certificate, DNP or MSN) programs meet the educational requirements to be eligible for the WHNP National Certification Exam (NCC).  

Graduates of Nurse Educator (Graduate Certificate or MSN) programs meet the educational requirements to be eligible for the National League for Nursing (NLN) Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) Certification Exam.
